Andrew Quits Musical Directorship of St Thomas', Stourbridge after 15 years of service

The 'earth-shattering' news is that, after 15 years as Director of Music at St Thomas's, Stourbridge, Andrew is giving up the struggle of trying to recruit boys for the choir.

Our hedonistic and agnostic/atheistic society has little time for activities that entail four attendances per week, especially if they cut across Sundays (Sports Worship Day), regardless of the superlative standards achieved or the character-building effects on their offspring. So Andrew will take some time out to recharge before (perhaps) embarking upon another 'church-based' musical activity. In the meantime he intends to compose, teach, PRACTISE! and do more recital work.
